Kraft NASCAR Pool
This pool was originally started at the Kraft Cobourg Plant in 1996 by John Groombridge with 28 entries. John turned it over to Bob Boundy in 2003, and Kees Kerkhoven with the help of Shawn Hope started to look after it in 2006. Although the plant was closed in the fall of 2008, Kees continued the pool tradition. Kees worked at the plant as a Maintenance Planner/Co-ordinator and retired when the plant closed.
2006 – Switched from driver points to owner points
2008 – This pool website became a reality
2016 – Pool limited the number of entries per person to a maximum of 2 and also limited “NEW” entries to past participants, their family, friends or co-workers
2017 – Crystal Thompson becomes the new administrator. “New ” for 2017 I will not be limiting the number of entries this year. The pool is open to everyone.
